Our General Scope was to generating Baseline schedule utilizing Microsoft Office Project & updating the schedule on a monthly basis.

Detailed schedule scope:

1. Reviewing & understanding specifications & plans.
2. Providing Detailed Activity List for the contractor to approve.
3. Assigning Activity relations & logic.
4. Calculating durations based on resources available.
5. Analyzing the activity float with the project manager.
6. Optimizing the schedule to finish on time comfortably as possible.
7. Co-ordinating with the sub-contractors & ensuring every sub-contractor is informed with the start & end dates their scope.
8.  Adding all submittal, administrative & procurement activities to the schedule & tying them with construction activities.
9. Adding all contractual milestones to ensure every contractual milestone is monitored every monthly update

Project challenges we helped in solving:

1. Project included 8 construction phases. Each covered a different scope of work in the schedule buildings & the surrounding streets.
2. Project included changing the whole Sewer system & connecting it to building during construction. This scope required continues co-ordination with the different authorities & the utility companies which was the main challenge during the construction period.
3. Very important challenge was that the some of the renovation work took place during school time. This required high level co-operation with the school board.  The general contractor was forced to work on different night shifts to accommodate for the time lost due to the occupancy of the classes and school facilities.
4. The project included temporary additional caravans to be installed on site, in construction schedule we had to ensure that the supplier was provided with an accurate date in order to directly install the caravans once the caravans are manufactured & ready to install. Any delay on this would have costed the general contractor a large sum of money.
