Detailed schedule scope:

1. Reviewing & understanding specifications & plans.
2. Providing Detailed Activity List for the contractor to approve.
3. Assigning Activity relations & logic.
4. Calculating durations based on resources available.
5. Analyzing the activity float with the project manager.
6. Optimizing the schedule to finish on time comfortably as possible.
7. Co-ordinating with the sub-contractors & ensuring every sub-contractor is informed with the start & end dates their scope.
8.  Adding all submittal, administrative & procurement activities to the schedule & tying them with construction activities.
9. Adding all contractual milestones to ensure every contractual milestone is monitored every monthly update
10. Updating the construction schedule on a weekly basis
11. Providing weekly reports to the general contractor & the owner with the current status of the project, highlighting the longest path and any delays or risks.
12. Attending the online weekly meetings on behalf of the general contractor to answer any questions or comments concerning the provided schedule updates.

Project challenges we helped in solving:

2. Aim Consultants LLC helped the general contractor in gaining more than 25 days of time extension added to the contractual completion date. Time Impact Analysis was performed, & we provided a delay matrix showing the effect of each delay on the critical path.
3. One main issue with this kind of projects is the limited area for all sub-contractors to work in parallel. We had to go through too much co-ordination between the general contractor and the other sub-contractors in order to be able provide a realistic planned start dates for each sub-contractor to come on site.
4. One other issue we helped in solving is assisting the general contractor in managing the limited storage area on site for the owner’s equipment. We were asked to provide accurate dates for the suppliers to deliver the Owner’s equipment, signage and furniture on time for direct installation to avoid equipment damage or exceeding the limited storage area available.
5. During the course of the project, a catwalk above the ceiling was suggested by the general contractor which was not included in the original scope, we had to revise the whole schedule accordingly because fabricating and installing the catwalk above the ceiling pushed all ceiling activities which as result pushed all finishing activities. We were able to mitigate the expected delay and save 2 calendar weeks by re-assigning new logic and crashing the remaining activities with the guidance of the general contractor.
