Our Scope was to generate Baseline schedule utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 & updating the schedule on a monthly basis.

Detailed schedule scope:

1. Reviewing & understanding specifications & plans.
2. Providing Detailed Activity List for the contractor to approve.
3. Assigning Activity relations & logic.
4. Calculating durations based on resources available.
5. Analyzing the activity float with the project manager.
6. Optimizing the schedule to finish on time comfortably as possible.
7. Co-ordinating with the sub-contractors & ensuring every sub-contractor is informed with the start & end dates their scope.
8.  Adding all submittal, administrative & procurement activities to the schedule & tying them with construction activities.
9. Adding all contractual milestones to ensure every contractual milestone is monitored every monthly update

Project challenges we helped in solving:

1. Weather was a key factor in the project, we had to account for the rainy days & other adverse weather days. We were able to extend the finish date of the project by one week.
2. Long lead items played a very crucial role in this project. For example, the guard rail was on the long lead item that was pushing the longest path of the project.  We had to make sure that all other construction activities preceding the installation of the guard rail post are finished before the delivery of the guard rail to the site so that the longest path of the project is not delayed.
3. There were hazardous lead materials that had to be removed, the construction schedule had to ensure that that abatement activities are done with all protection activities were included to the schedule.
4. The criticality of the project was very high because of its resource driven nature. Aim Consultants had to provide various what-if scenarios in order to reach the most convenient cost & time efficient course of action in the project.
